How I work: process, payment and revisions

You deal with me directly, from first message to launch. Here's what happens after you get in touch, when you pay, and what I fix for free.

WhatsAppTelegramEmail

How a project runs

  1. Email, WhatsApp or Telegram, links below. Two or three lines about the job are enough.

  2. We talk it through.

I ask who your customers are, what they ask most, and which competitor sites you like. Then I give you a price and a timeline: an express site takes 1 day, an online store up to 8 weeks.

  3. We agree the scope in writing.

What's in and what's out goes into our email or chat thread, so we both have the same picture.

  4. 50% upfront.

You pay the first half and I start.

  5. Structure.

I look at competitor sites and lay out the pages: what people see first and where they get in touch.

  6. Design.

I design the pages or screens and show you. I revise them until you approve.

  7. Launch and handover.

I build it, test it on phone and desktop, publish it and hand over the logins. You check it and pay the second half.

  8. 30 days of fixes.

For 30 days after handover I fix issues on my side for free and help with small edits.

Payment

One-off projects (websites, apps and the rest):

50% upfront
before the work starts.
The remaining 50%
on delivery.
A fixed price
before any work starts: I name the price in numbers first.

Monthly SEO support is paid month by month.

Guide prices ("from") and timelines are on the Services page.

We agree the payment method before the start, together with the price and timeline.

A domain, hosting or a server, and any paid plugins or services are paid separately. I list them before we start.

If you order an AI assistant, AI usage is paid separately each month. The amount depends on the number of conversations: I estimate it upfront from your volume and set a spending cap so the bill can't run away.

Revisions after delivery

For 30 days after handover I fix issues on my side for free and help with small edits.

New pages, sections and features that weren't in the brief, and larger changes, are quoted separately: you get the price before I start. After the 30 days I still take on edits, priced separately, and you get the price before I start.

What I guarantee, and what I don't

I guarantee:

  • The site is built as agreed and works on phones and in the main browsers.
  • For 30 days after handover I fix issues on my side for free and help with small edits.
  • Monthly SEO support: if search brings no enquiries in the first 3 months, month 4 is free. How I count an enquiry from search is on the SEO support page.

I don't guarantee: leads, sales or rankings. They also depend on your offer, your prices, your competitors and how many people visit. My job is to make sure visitors get your offer fast and can reach you easily.

Terms in brief

I'm Ilya Litau, a freelance developer. I design and build websites, apps and AI assistants on my own, with no agency in between, so you brief the person who does the work. To hire me, send a couple of lines about the job. I'll ask a few questions, give you a fixed price and a timeline, and we'll agree the scope in writing. You pay 50% before I start and 50% on delivery. Monthly SEO support is paid month by month. For 30 days after handover I fix issues on my side for free and help with small edits. Guide prices and timelines for each service are on the Services page.

Discuss your project

Tell me what you need to build. I'll reply with a price and a timeline.
